There is an end to cure, there is no end to care.
Alumni of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning and Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School from Puttaparthi, with the support of Pain Relief and Palliative Care Society and United Care Development Services from Hyderabad, established the Sri Sathya Sai Palliative Care Center (SSSPCC) at Puttaparthi in July-2022. To take forward the work of rendering free Palliative Care and Cancer Care Services in the Sri Sathya Sai District of Andhra Pradesh, the alumni from these institutions set up Swaasthyam Palliative Care and Cancer Foundation in October-2023.
In April 2023, Devotees of Sri Sathya Sai Baba made a land gift to SPCCF at Puttaparthi, to set up a spacious and permanent facility which integrates Cancer Care services along with Palliative Care Services. The Bhumi Pooja for this new campus called Sai Sharan was conducted on 26-Apr-2024. This new facility which will be close to the current facility (SSSPCC) is expected to be operational in the year 2025, coinciding with the Centenary Birth Celebrations of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
“Love All, Serve All” the universal message of service given by Sri Sathya Sai Baba serves as an inspiration for this center.
SPCCF supports the work of SSSPCC, including its homecare services and is currently working to establish an additional center at Puttaparthi to provide Palliative Care and Cancer Care services.
You can volunteer at the center in many ways. Please contact +91-9000183123 for more details.
